Amjad qualified as a Solicitor in 2000 co-founded the practice and is Head of the Civil Litigation Department. Amjad has extensive experience in dealing with a variety of complicated Civil and Commercial Litigation matters, Road Traffic Accidents, Slips and Trips, and Accidents at Work.

Amjad also specialises in drafting Islamic Wills and carries over 20 years of experience in the Legal profession having worked for High Street practices as well as Advice Centres, in the private and voluntary sectors.

Haroon Majid qualified as a Solicitor in 2002 and also co-founded the practice, he has extensive experience in dealing with a wide variety of Immigration and Family Law matters including Divorces and Children matters.

Haroon has over 20 years of experience in the Legal profession in the private and voluntary sectors, having worked for High Street practices as well as Advice Centres. His experience also covers other areas of law including Criminal, Welfare, Debt, Housing, and Civil areas of Law.

Energised HR Professional with 40+ years’ experience resolving complex Employee Relations issues and leading HR through business transformation. Proven track record in change management, recruitment, TUPE (up to 350 staff), training, and management development. Sectors include housing, gas, telecoms, health care patient transport, local authority, and building services construction. Skilled in managing HR teams through collaboration, empowerment, and clear direction.

Umar Hussain oversees the firm and is responsible for the development of business plans and strategies, and monitoring performance. He is also responsible for the social media and marketing policies.

Mr Hussain (LLB) specialises in business and systems change, optimising client performance by aligning People, Processes, and Systems. He has a wealth of experience across all business functions and in a variety of sectors, with particular strengths in the charity, legal, and services sectors.

  Saad Saeed has been a senior member of Aman Solicitors since 2004, working primarily in civil litigation and employment law, while also contributing to the immigration and advocacy teams. His civil litigation practice covers a broad range of areas including professional negligence, contract and charity law, landlord and tenant disputes, insolvency, debt recovery, property and trust matters, probate, consumer law, and regulatory issues, serving diverse clients from across the UK and abroad.

Since 2003, Saad has appeared as an advocate in various courts and tribunals, becoming a Solicitor Advocate (Higher Courts Civil Proceedings) in 2011. He has represented clients before the Immigration and Asylum Chambers, Employment Tribunal, Special Immigration Appeals Commission, High Court, and Court of Appeal, and is also instructed by other solicitors. Known for arguing complex legal points and obtaining emergency injunctions, he is driven by achieving the best possible outcomes for his clients.

Amolak Singh Authi joined the firm in 2012. Amolak is a Member of the Immigration & Asylum Accredited Scheme. (Level 2 and Supervisor Level)

He is an experienced Immigration Law Solicitor handling a large caseload encompassing applications for Entry Clearance as well as In-Country applications, including Family & Spouse Visas, Human Rights, Settlements, Nationality, Domestic Violence applications, EEA applications, business, and tier-based immigration work.

Amolak regularly represents clients in the Immigration Tribunal and the Upper Tribunal. He also prepares cases for Judicial review and assists the High Court on complex matters.

Amolak is known for his efficient service and his friendly and professional manner as well as his in-depth knowledge of immigration work.

Afarsyab Younas joined the firm in 2012 and specialises in numerous areas of Family Law including; Divorce and Separation, Matrimonial Finances, Financial Provisions, and Child Arrangements, including Emergency Orders, Domestic Violence, and Emergency Injunctions. In the event of litigation, Afarsyab can represent clients in the Family Court.

Afarsyab has represented a broad spectrum of clients including high net worth clients and is well-versed in immigration and can complete In Country/Out of Country applications.

Ithshaam Khan (LLB) began working at Aman Solicitors in 2019 and initially started in the Immigration Department and has more recently become a part of other departments within the firm.

Ithshaam plays a pivotal role in the Immigration Department as assists his clients with Entry Clearance, further leave to remain, settlement, and nationality applications; he also has experience in dealing with student visas. He is also a key member of the Employment Law Department, assisting both employees and employers. He has assisted in cases ranging from Unfair dismissals to disability discrimination, the unlawful dedication of wages, and whistleblowing. Ithshaam has also assisted with settlement agreements.

Ithshaam is also part of the Property Department; where he makes applications to the land register on behalf of his clients.

Ithshaam is also responsible for drafting Power of Attorney, Islamic Wills, Statutory Declarations, and Accommodation Reports.

Hafsa Adan is a Trainee Solicitor at Aman Solicitors, currently undertaking training in property law with an emphasis on commercial real estate, landlord–tenant matters, and possession (eviction) proceedings.

She assists fee earners with the preparation and review of lease documentation and sale contracts, manages renewal and termination processes, and supports the resolution of landlord–tenant disputes. Hafsa also guides clients through possession proceedings, ensuring procedural compliance and efficient case management.

In addition, she undertakes personal injury work, including road traffic accident claims, public liability matters, and employers’ liability claims.

Dedicated and meticulous, Hafsa combines strong legal research capabilities with a client-focused approach. She is committed to advancing her expertise in property and housing law and intends to qualify as a solicitor specialising in commercial real estate and landlord–tenant matters.
